UNannounced (2024-)

I’ve been trusted to spearhead a lot of the design for this new project. Without revealing anything, here’s a bit of what I’ve been up to:

  • QoL, Gameplay & Systems Design

    • Assessing existing systems and mechanics

    • Proposing improvements and extended features

  • Input Design

    • Arranging input schemes

    • Assessing input design for accessibility, usability and responsiveness

  • Internal and external documentation / communications


Age Of mythology: Retold (2024)

PC / XBOX

I worked on this as a hybrid designer and programmer for a few months. This means I was able to do things like design and implement the entire replay/spectator mode for gamepad players. In that time I also did:

  • Gameplay programming & bug fixing

  • Design documentation and implementation

  • Redesigning mouse + keyboard features for gamepad


Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD (2022-2024)

Nintendo Switch

I was lucky enough to be a part of this project start to finish. Here’s what I did:

  • Gameplay programming & bug fixing

  • Graphics programming (lots of lighting and material shaders)

    • I was the point of contact for all lighting/material queries 😎

  • Technical design assessments

    • I worked closely with the lead designer to assess design solutions and investigate technical feasibility

  • Gameplay scripting


Cities SKylines (2021-2022)

PC / XBOX / PlayStation / Google Stadia

I worked on Cities for a couple months around the time of the ‘Airports’ DLC development and release. I got to do:

  • Lots of bug fixing!

  • Redesigning and implementing UI to accommodate gamepad navigation
